Dr. Jodie Bergquist, DPC, LPC-S, LCDC, LPCMHP is a licensed therapist in Texas and Tennessee with over a decade of experience supporting adults, couples, and families in their healing journeys. She holds a Doctor of Professional Counseling with a focus in trauma, loss, and grief, and is passionate about helping clients redefine their lives by transforming how they understand and relate to their personal stories. Dr. Bergquist is also a certified leadership and life coach.
Specializing in trauma, addiction, and couples counseling, Dr. Bergquist works extensively with individuals impacted by both childhood trauma and adult-life disruptions—including PTSD, grief, and relational wounds. She incorporates a narrative therapy lens, guiding clients in reframing their life stories to foster healing, resilience, and renewed purpose.
Her integrative approach blends the power of narrative work with evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), somatic therapy, and polyvagal-informed practices.
